- As these recommendations are updated on a regular basis, we would encourage you to visit the CDC website.

- We do not anticipate that this will be an issue. For your convenience, we updated a previous verification letter for our Caregivers. Click here for a copy.
Do we need to wear masks while we are working?
- CDC recommends that you wear a cloth mask over your nose and mouth in grocery stores and all other public places where it is hard to stay 6 feet away from others.
- Consult with your client to ensure they are comfortable with the level of PPE (personal protective equipment) you are using.
- Contact your supervisor or the office if you have any questions.
Can I get some PPE (personal protective equipment)?
- Gloves - yes, H@H has a supply and will make every effort to get them to you. For planning purposes, please notify your supervisor when your supply is down as it may take up to 2 weeks to get them delivered to you.
- Masks – yes, H@H now has a (limited) supply. Please contact the office.
- Hand Sanitizer - yes, H@H now has a (limited) supply. Please contact the office.
Does CDC have additional cautions I can take?
- Wash your hands often, with soap and water. Wash for at least 20 seconds.
- Always wash your hands after being in a public place.
- Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze. Cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue. (Discard used tissue in the trash)
- Always wash your hands after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
- If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Clean and disinfect things that people touch a lot: counters and other surfaces; telephones, remote controls and other devices; doorknobs, stairway railings and other objects.
I don't feel well, what should I do?
- We would recommend that you contact your medical provider in person or by e-visit. Your provider will be able to give you guidance as to what it takes to return to work. If you do stop working, please inform your supervisor & client right away and follow what is advised by your provider.

- We would recommend that the individual contact their medical provider in person or by e-visit. Their provider will be able to give them guidance as to what it takes to return to work. If you do stop working, please inform your supervisor & client right away and follow what is advised by your provider.

- If your symptoms were consistent with those of the COVID-19, then we would request you contact your medical provider and follow the guidelines they provide to you. A copy of that note may be provided to your supervisor.
Should I keep working for my client?
- If you and your client are healthy, absolutely, YES! Please follow the guidelines provided by the trusted medical organizations. Your client is counting on you for not only physical cares, but for emotional encouragement during this stressful time.
- Fulfilling your responsibilities while spending time with your client will be a wonderful blessing to them!
What should I do if either I or my client gets sick or my client does not wish me to continue to work?
- We need to be respectful of the guidelines established by the trusted medical organizations. If you stop working for your client, please notify your supervisor right away.

- Although our office door is locked we are still open for appointment only. You may submit your timesheets the same way as you always have. We would encourage every employee to sign up for the convenient electronic Time Card, click here to learn more.
